Alexi Giannoulias was thrilled to join President Obama in Chicago for an Election Day basketball game. He bragged on Twitter about teaming up with the player-in-chief and Chicago Bulls legend Scottie Pippen.

Who’s Giannoulias? Readers of this blog will remember. Apparently, Team Obama doesn’t care.

Flashback 2010:

Fresh from the NRSC, a perfect way to celebrate President Obama’s mob-flavored birthday party with shady banking scion Alexi Giannoulias (background here and much more in the updated paperback edition of Culture of Corruption out on Monday) — Obama’s corruptocrat mini-me angling for Illinois’s Senate seat.

Don’t fugheddaboutit. Remember in November:

Takeaway: You can take the Chicago pol out of Chicago, but you can’t the Chicago out of the pol.

Good news: You can vote him and his corruptocrat team out of office. The ballot box is the ultimate sanitizer!
