This slipped through the cracks a couple days ago, but I’ll throw it open for weekend discussion now that most of us have emerged from our tryptophan comas or are being released from the hospital after various Black Friday scuffles.

Appearing on Morning Joe, Karen Mills, the head of the Small Business Administration, claimed this about numerous reports of small business owners saying Obamacare will have a negative impact on them:

“You know, I travel all around the country, every week I go to a different part of the country. I’m with small businesses. And I’m not hearing that.”

Not hearing that? Either she’s lying through her teeth or she gets out less than J.D. Salinger:

And of course the negative impacts aren’t confined to small businesses.

On a related note, today is “Small Business Saturday,” and Jay Carney is urging shoppers to support the “back bone of our communities.” The White House has already showed their support by offering crippling health care law mandates topped off with an upcoming tax increase chaser, so now the administration wants shoppers to do their part for small biz.
