Obama charges Joe ‘Republican bullets are aimed at you’ Biden with spearheading administration’s gun debate

Yesterday, President Obama asked his Cabinet members to propose measures that would help reduce gun violence (gee, I wonder what kind of ideas Obama is likely to hear). Obama also assigned a point-man to oversee the effort:
The administration’s push to stem further killings will be spearheaded by Vice President Joe Biden, according to the Washington Post, which first reported the effort.
The president’s directive is the latest sign that the shooting at Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newtown, Conn. last Friday may have shifted the conversation over the nation’s gun laws.

Reports said the president met with Biden on Monday to discuss heading the administration’s efforts.
Do you think Biden will examine if over-the-top gun metaphors in political rhetoric play a role in promoting violence in our society?
And they should forget about new gun laws — from the look of things the administration might want to start by enforcing the old ones first.
