White House rejects petition to construct Death Star, citing deficit concerns and an introspection shortage

So many were hoping this was going to prove to be a Krug-eriffic stimulus program, but the White House recently denied the petition. Here’s part of the explanation, with the laugh line in bold:

The Administration shares your desire for job creation and a strong national defense, but a Death Star isn’t on the horizon. Here are a few reasons:

•The construction of the Death Star has been estimated to cost more than $850,000,000,000,000,000. We’re working hard to reduce the deficit, not expand it.

•The Administration does not support blowing up planets.

•Why would we spend countless taxpayer dollars on a Death Star with a fundamental flaw that can be exploited by a one-man starship?

Joe Biden can easily debunk the deficit concern.

The problem is that $850,000,000,000,000,000 when spent by the government will only result in about 75 new jobs.

An aggressive estimate, but possible I suppose. Well, not anymore:
