Star of ‘Bullet to the Head’: We need new national gun control legislation

Is there still enough room on the gun control bandwagon for Rambo? Sylvester Stallone supports the latest legislation:
Stallone supported the 1994 “Brady bill” that included a now-expired ban on assault weapons, and hopes that ban can be reinstated.
“I know people get (upset) and go, ‘They’re going to take away the assault weapon.’ Who … needs an assault weapon? Like really, unless you’re carrying out an assault. … You can’t hunt with it. … Who’s going to attack your house, a (expletive) army?”
Learn all about the need for gun control in Sly’s latest movie:

Radical proposal: Until we have more data on the influence movie violence may or may not have on the actions of people, it should be illegal to portray on screen any kind of weapon that is banned by federal law. A show of hands, Hollywood? Hollywood?
This is nothing new from Stallone. After Phil Hartman was shot and killed by his wife in 1998, Stallone said, “Until America, door to door, takes every handgun, this is what you’re gonna have. It’s pathetic. It really is pathetic. It’s sad. We’re living in the Dark Ages over there.” Not surprisingly, Stallone apparently holds a concealed carry permit. Yo Adrian, hypocrite alert!
The rumor among industry insiders is that Sly will finally put his money where his mouth is on gun control when he starts filming Rambo V. The movie’s plot will revolve around the Iranian army launching a ground war and John Rambo’s attempts to singlehandedly repel the attack armed with nothing but a DHS instructional video and a pair of scissors.
Finally, food for thought for anybody in Hollywood — including Stallone, Ah-nuld or anybody else — who claim movies are “just entertainment” and don’t have anything to do with real life violence:
Hollywood Nitwits: “You can’t blame movies for gun violence!” Really? Then why did Obama blame the Benghazi massacre on one? Liberalunatics!
