Amendments are hard.

This morning, Nancy “I know the Constitution” Pelosi appeared on Fox News Sunday and once again dazzled with her constitutional acumen:

“We avow the First Amendment. We stand with that and say that people have a right to have a gun to protect themselves. in their homes and their jobs, whatever, and that they — and the workplace and that they, for recreation and hunting and the rest,” Pelosi inarticulately told Wallace.

Wallace didn’t correct Pelosi, possibly due to fear of the rumored lasers that shoot from her eyes when angered. And of course the right to keep and bear such weaponry for reasons of self-defense is guaranteed Nancy by the First Amendment… or something.

Bonus Pelosi from the same program: “It is almost a false argument to say we have a spending problem.”
