CNN reporter likens stranded cruise ship to hurricane Katrina

Passengers on the Carnival cruise liner Crapathia Triumph were happy to be back on land after a few days aboard the crippled ship, and not just because they’d just heard those two words that anybody who had been bobbing around the Gulf of Mexico in a giant septic tank longs to hear: “Complimentary bathrobe!”
CNN was all over the ship’s return, and is it just me or did somebody trying to inject a “blame Bush” angle into the story?
Throughout the ordeal, CNN’s helicopter circled the ship constantly as another CNN reporter reported from a nearby boat, and still two more reported on land. One reporter, Martin Savidge, likened conditions on Triumph to the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina, to which the passenger he was interviewing responded, “We’re on a freaking cruise ship, and we’re just out having a good time.”
Has anybody blamed global warming yet?
Some of the cruise ship’s passengers were just destined to have a really lousy week:
One bus carrying passengers from Mobile to New Orleans broke down, CBS News reported.
We’ll now wait for the CNN reporter to compare that experience to the eruption of Mt. Vesuvius or something.
