Legend on Capitol Hill has it that Joe Biden once shot a man just for spendin’ too slow, so pay attention…

Last month, Joe Biden advised argued “assault weapons” for home defense and in favor of a double barrel shotgun. Yesterday, during a Facebook Q & A, Biden offered more pointers regarding the art of shotgun self-defense:

“We live in an area that’s wooded and secluded,” Biden said. “I said, Jill, if there’s ever a problem just walk out on the balcony here … put that double-barreled shotgun and fire two blasts outside the house.”

“I promise you whoever’s coming in is not gonna,” Biden said. “You don’t need an AR-15 (assault rifle). It’s harder to aim. It’s harder to use and in fact you don’t need 30 rounds to protect yourself.”

“Buy a shotgun,” he said, lowering his voice almost to whisper.

Nice of Joe to take it upon himself to decide what others do and don’t need to protect themselves.

Biden also said that opposing the administration’s gun control measures is like being fine with making cocaine readily available… or something (though I don’t recall seeing “the right to keep and bear blow” mentioned in the Constitution).
