“I won’t stop fighting to open up government” — Barack Obama, January 2010
*****
President Obama is meeting with the nation’s governors today in Washington. At least we think so.
From Erik Wemple at the WaPo via Newsbusters:
Just a couple of moments ago, President Obama finished an address to members of the the National Governors Association at the White House by saying, “What I want to do is clear out the press so we can take some questions.”
Wow, somebody’s tired of being asked about golfing with Tiger Woods.
What did the press do in the meantime? They certainly wouldn’t have been welcome to go to one of Joe Biden’s Transparency Board meetings.
