The good news: Nancy Pelosi wants to reduce spending.

The bad news: She thinks tax increases are spending reductions:

“Our whole budget is what, $3.5 trillion? So when we talk about reducing spending, we certainly must, and we certainly have — $1.6 trillion in the previous Congress, $1.2 of it in the Budget Control Act. But spending is also related to tax cuts,” Mrs. Pelosi, speaking to the press, said.

“Tax cuts are spending. Tax expenditures, they are called,” she continued.

The very simple economic philosophy of Nancy Pelosi and too many others is that all your money belongs to government and what you have left over is because of their good graces, but it comes as an expense to them so try not to be too greedy.

Oddly enough, if you work and would like a tax cut, according to Pelosi you’re asking the government to increase spending… and that’s bad for our economic future. If you lose your job end up receiving unemployment checks which cost billions of dollars per year, you’re boosting the economy and creating jobs.

You’ve entered…
