Obamacare regs: The paper skyscraper

Yesterday, Sen. Mitch McConnell’s office tweeted a photo of a print copy of all the Obamacare regs to date:

That stack appears to be just a couple feet short of being required to have a flashing aircraft warning light at the top.
Warner Todd Huston has the dimensions:
This is over 20,000 pages and measures 7′ 2.5″. These are all the Obamacare regulations published in the Federal Register up through last week. Then last Friday they added another 828 pages.
Why is there a red ribbon around on that stack of regulations? I assume because it was Nancy Pelosi and the Democrats’ “Christmas present” to the American people:
