That brings us to our second competing headline, which was posted today on the White House website:

Baby steps.

What with Obama and Biden taking a voluntary pay cut to show solidarity with furloughed federal employees, maybe the White House figured that would narrow the gap enough to warrant preaching to everybody else about equal pay.
