Video: Obama/Nixon comparisons gaining speed

The number of people comparing Obama to Nixon is on the rise. Mitch McConnell’s done it. George Will’s done it. Even Bob Schieffer’s gone there.

Now, thanks to this video from Revealing Politics by way of Instapundit and Powerline, it appears that President Obama has also been doing his best to keep the comparisons alive:

Lots more Obama/Nixon similarities at MOTUS. If the Obamas get a dog named Checkers the circle will be complete.

That said, Jim Treacher writes why it’s ridiculous to compare Obama to Nixon:

Nixon was a Republican!

Another difference: Nobody died in Watergate. Let alone a United States ambassador being murdered by Islamic terrorists, and then the administration incessantly lying about it to cover up their own incompetence.

Duly noted.

Democrats will defend their criminal syndicate no matter what. The Nixon administration did not use a wing of the federal government to intimidate political opponents as in the IRS scandal. Eric Holder should not only resign, but should serve prison time for his role in MULTIPLE scandals.

What worries Me is that if these mis-deeds go unpunished–what`s next? In the way of new Oppressions. When people aren`t held Accountable–things very often worsen in the way of Abusiveness!!
