US Flag Code: “The flag should never have placed upon it, nor on any part of it, nor attached to it any mark, insignia, letter, word, figure, design, picture, or drawing of any nature.”
*****

Spotted at yesterday’s MLK rally, possibly on loan from the Lake County, Florida Democratic Party:

In case Hope™ and Change™ devotees have trouble spotting the difference, the above flag features Obama’s face over the area where one star representing each state normally appears — all 58 of them.

Additional photos here.

Closing thought:

It’s not likely that Martin Luther King Jr., would have endorsed this flag, having once said: “I feel someone must remain in the position of non-alignment, so that he can look objectively at both parties and be the conscience of both—not the servant or master of either.”

Update: It doesn’t look like any of the Obama flags were left on the grounds yesterday, but plenty of other stuff was.
