Yesterday: White House backs away from Kerry’s ‘off the cuff’ Syria remark — Today: That was the plan all along!

Sure, we could talk about how the White House and State Department quickly tried to walk back John Kerry’s “off the cuff” proposal to give Syria some time to turn over their chemical weapons stockpile (L.A. Times called it the “Mr. Magoo school of diplomacy). We could also spend some time discussing how today, now that the “plan” is in play, Kerry said he totally intended to present the proposal all along.

However, instead of getting into ugly and boring details, this is a quicker way to sum up how Kerry and his “plan” got to where they are today:
