Economy wars: Barack Obama vs. Hillary Clinton

President Obama made this claim last weekend:

Number one, globalization. Right? Capital, companies, they can move businesses and– and jobs– anywhere they want. And so they’re lookin’ for the lowest wages. That squeezes workers here in the United States, even if corporations are profitable. Technology. If you go to– a lot of companies now, they’ve eliminated entire occupations because they’re now robotized. We don’t have travel agents. We don’t have bank tellers.

Travel agents are extinct!

And yesterday, Hillary to the rescue:

Hillary Rodham Clinton slipped into Miami Thursday for a speech to a travel agents’ convention in which the former secretary of state said little about troubles abroad or her future ambitions.

Maybe Hillary is better for the economy than Obama — she revived an entire industry just for the enormous speaking fee.
