Dare the impossible: 5 people in Iowa have managed to sign up for Obamacare

It’s funny how those very few who are managing to sign up for Obamacare are being reported as if they’re the first people to make it to the summit of Mt. Everest — the Sir Edmund Hillarys of bloated, wasteful, incompetent, bureaucratic over-reach.

In Iowa, five people have reportedly done the seemingly impossible:

“Also today, the insurance division office in Des Moines told us, ‘We cannot say for sure if anyone has successfully signed up through the healthcare.gov website,” says a reporter.

“Tonight, one of the two exchange providers … said a total of 5 Iowans have obtained insurance.”

Somebody please ask any of those five people if the process took less than ten minutes.

As for HealthCare.gov, for a snapshot of what our $634 million got us, take a look at this. It sounds as if the site was basically designed to perform a dedicated denial of service attack on itself. Genius! That way hackers will have nothing else to do at the site except focus on buying an Obamacare policy.

In Hawaii, nobody has yet been inspired to greatness.
