Question: How long did this “Barry-cade” at the World War II Memorial hold up at the start of today’s “Million Vet March” in D.C.?

Answer (which you probably guessed): “Not very long”:

But at least the participants were kind enough to return them to the White House:

The gates at the Lincoln Memorial were equally ineffective.

Naturally, there’s a heavy police presence.

Presumably that’s just a “Rapid Response Barry-cade Reconstruction Team” and later some of them will be paid overtime to put the barriers back up at the memorials.

Has anybody done a study to find out how much more they’re spending to keep the D.C. memorials closed off than it costs to leave them open to the public?

Tons more over at Twitchy.
