Yesterday I speculated that the Park Police arriving on the scene at the “Million Vets March” in D.C. weren’t ordered there to arrest people as much as to join the elite “Rapid Response Barry-cade Reconstruction Team.” That suspicion has been confirmed:

Yes, the barriers have already been put back in place, and apparently reinforced with wire that might require slightly larger cutters.

If this ridiculous cycle of “removal and replacement” keeps going on, the memorial Barry-cades might go down in history as the biggest make-work program since the WPA.

The message being sent from the White House is this: “We’re the federal government dammit, and we will NOT be shown up by this guy!”:
