Sebelius: Maybe Republicans and the shutdown are to blame for the Three Stoogian launch of HealthCare.Gov

Forget that the Democrat-controlled Congress passed the law that President Obama signed over three years ago, the Dems created the “go” date, and that HealthCare.Gov didn’t officially open for business until the same day the shutdown began — this disaster still could be the fault of Republicans, according to HHS Secretary Sebelius yesterday.

Transcript via Fox News:

“In an ideal world there would have been a lot more testing, but we did not have the luxury of that. And the law said the go-time was Oct. 1,” she said. “And frankly, a political atmosphere where the majority party, at least in the House, was determined to stop this anyway they possibly could … was not an ideal atmosphere.”

Nice try, but there’s no more paper left on that roll no matter how desperately you spin it.
