Obamacare a good product for sale in a poorly managed store, says store manager

“You think you hate it now, but wait’ll you manage to sign up for it!”

President Obama was in Texas yesterday trying to explain all the major problems with Obamacare implementation:

Now, this is like having a really good product in the store and the cash registers don’t work and there aren’t enough parking spots and nobody can get through the door. And so we are working overtime to get this fixed. And the website is already better than it was at the beginning of October. And by the end of this month, we are anticipating it will be working the way it is supposed to. Alright? Folks are working 24/7 to make sure that happens.

What are the odds that any company under that kind of mismanagement would ever have a “really good product” in the first place? And who is the “store manager” in this scenario, anyway?

Rick Perry’s response was great:

“I know that sometimes this task is especially challenging here in the great Lone Star State,” Obama said to laughter. “But I think all of you understand that there’s no state that actually needs this more than Texas.”

Perry shot back, accusing Obama in a statement of trying to “salvage his ill-conceived and unpopular program from a Titanic fate.”

“Texans aren’t the reason Obamacare is crumbling,” Perry said. “Obamacare is the reason Obamacare is crumbling.”

Meanwhile, back in D.C., Kathleen Sebelius tried to rally her weary HHS troops:
