Former president who helped sell Obamacare: The law should be changed to honor Obama’s commitment

Operation “Get Hillary as Far Away from This Train Wreck as Possible” has commenced.

From the Weekly Standard:

“So I personally believe, even if it takes a change to the law, the president should honor the commitment the federal government made to those people and let them keep what they got.”

Reminder: This is coming from the same man who just a couple months ago said Obamacare would “empower people to have better life stories.”

However, I can see it already as a ploy to save the 2014 elections: The Dems could try to change the law to fit Obama’s “if you like your plan you can keep it” promise (too late now, but that wouldn’t matter for this purpose). The House GOP wouldn’t allow it, but the Dems could then campaign on “heartless Republicans denying Americans health insurance plans they want to keep.” It sounds ridiculous, which is exactly why it could happen.
