Kerry: Nuke deal doesn’t give Iran right to enrich; Iran: World recognized our right to enrich

The ink isn’t even dry on the temporary Iran nuclear deal and it already has that distinct “passed it to find out what’s in it” scent.

John Kerry this morning:

Kerry was responding to comments from Iran’s foreign minister and Iranian President Hassan Rouhani saying that the deal amounted to a recognition of Iran’s right to enrich.

“There is no inherent right to enrich,” Kerry said on ABC’s “This Week.” “And everywhere in this particular agreement it states that they could only do that by mutual agreement, and nothing is agreed on until everything is agreed on.”

Kerry added: “We do not recognize a right to enrich.”

He might want to remind the other side:

Maybe this explains the initially allowed differences. Or not:

“You can’t always start where you want to wind up,” Kerry said on ABC.

Sailing enthusiast Kerry borrowed that quote from the legendary maritime navigator Captain Obvious.

In a related story, watch out, Hillary!
