Obama on HealthCare.gov: We’re looking into why I wasn’t informed it was going to suck

That’s not exactly the way he said it, but it’s easier to understand than this:

“Obviously my most recent concern has been that my website’s not working,” he said “and we’re evaluating why it is exactly that I didn’t know soon enough that [it] wasn’t going to work the way it needed to. But my priority now has been to just make sure that it works.”

If only somebody who doesn’t know anything about web design had been informed sooner that the website wasn’t going to work when they flipped the switch, it would have worked better — or something.

Obama’s words about the O-care website disaster could go down in history with other famous quotes:

“We’re evaluating why it is exactly that I didn’t know soon enough that the ship couldn’t avoid icebergs the way it needed to” – Bruce Ismay

“We’re evaluating why it is exactly that I didn’t know soon enough that ‘I did not have sexual relations with that woman’ wasn’t true the way that it needed to be” – Bill Clinton

Some are saying presidential term limits should be ended so Obama could run for a third term, and if so he’s stumbled upon the perfect 2016 campaign slogan:

null
