Earlier this year, the Department of Health and Human Services announced a contest for the public to create videos that “educate and inform” about Obamacare (degree of difficulty: No “Titanic” themes).

The title of the winning entry is indeed priceless:

Erin McDonald was announced as the overall Grand Prize winner with her video “Forget about the Price Tag” in a Google+ Hangout featuring Kal Penn and White House Health Care policy expert Christen Linke Young on December 2.

“Forget About the Price Tag” — from the creators of “Pay No Attention to the Man Behind the Curtain.”

Some of the lyrics:

Ain’t about the, uh, cha-ching cha-ching
Ain’t about the, yeah, bling bla-bling
Affordable Care Act — Don’t worry about the price tag

In spite of that request, young people, realizing many years too late that they’re getting stuck with a good portion of the bill, are finally worried about the price tag of this “affordable” care.

Charlie Spiering at the Washington Examiner features the other “winning” entries. As near as I can tell, they’re saying we need Obamacare because they’re not smart enough to safely cross the street, play frisbee or operate a grill.

Here’s another Obamacare contest entry that I call “Frolic with your death panel”:
