FLOTUS: Make a discussion about Obamacare your kids’ ‘Christmas treat’

Christmas treat suggestion from the First Lady: Dip your health insurance cancellation notice in chocolate and add sprinkles for a delicious Obamacare-related holiday dessert.
From CNS News:
Reaching out to “moms” on Wednesday, President and Mrs. Obama urged them to encourage others to enroll in Obamacare.
“And we urge people to reach out. And if they signed up their child, then signed up — sign up their friends,” Mrs. Obama said. “You know, if you’ve got grandkids, make it a Christmas treat around the table to talk about a little health care. You know, ring in the new year with a — new coverage.” (Chuckles.)
There sure is an awful lot of arm-twisting required to sell a law that was supposed to be the best thing ever. In all honesty though, I did bring up the subject of Obamacare at my house on Thanksgiving, but it was while we were stuffing the turkey, so it seemed metaphorically appropriate.
Quick question: If you wanted somebody to “ring in the new year” with coverage why would you tell them at Christmas dinner on December 25th to sign up for Obamacare when the enrollment deadline for January 1st coverage is December 23rd? Hey, nobody said any of this was going to make sense, right?
If Americans aren’t sufficiently energized to sell Obamacare to their families, word is the administration will have Mitch and Murray send in Blake for a little motivational meeting (language warning):
