A Coast Guard ice breaker is currently en route in an attempt to free my car from the frigid grip of Boreas:

On Travelocity earlier I clicked the “go somewhere warmer” button and it booked me a room on the Akademik Shokalskiy.

Meanwhile, CNN’s top climatologists have it all figured out:

The science is settled. Al Gore’s search for the cover of his next book is over.

I’m getting a kick out of those who are answering the “Al Gore hardest hit” type comments by insisting the extreme winter cold doesn’t disprove global warming. They don’t understand their methodology is being mocked, but it doesn’t really matter because none of this will be remembered in July when they’re using a summer heatwave as proof of global warming and CNN is saying we’ve been “sucked into a Death Valley vortex.”
