As the father of two teens and with another almost there, I’m particularly disturbed to know that our tax dollars are going towards things like this Planned Parenthood produced video that was first put out last fall (via CNS News):
Planned Parenthood of Northern New England (PPNNE)–which received more than $2.75 million in government funding in 2012 — has produced and posted online a video specifically aimed at teenagers that promotes bondage and sadomasochism (BDSM) and proposes “rules” to follow when engaging in these activities.
“People sometimes think that those who practice BDSM are emotionally scarred or were once abused—not true, it’s a total myth,” the host of the video, Laci Green, informs its intended audience of teens.
“BDSM relies upon and creates trust,” she says.
More to that story here. What’s next? Schoolhouse Rock-style sex videos targeted to kids? (if they’ve already done that, don’t tell me)
Naturally, S & M instruction for teens falls under the umbrella of “health care”:
“We are dedicated to protecting the sexual health of teens by providing accurate information, opportunities to explore and establish beliefs and attitudes, and the skills to communicate their needs,” says PPNNE’s “For Teens” page.
“For teens who are sexually involved, Planned Parenthood is committed to providing resources for safeguarding their emotional and physical health,” it says.
How long will it be until Obamacare regs demand that health insurers cover leather hoods and ball gags? (again, if it already does, don’t tell me)
Here’s the only possibly redeeming quote from the video: “Partners must talk about what they would and would not like to do beforehand. Using a ‘yes, no, maybe’ chart can be helpful to identify where each of you stands.” When I was a teen nothing would have turned me off the idea of casual sex faster than a suggestion that it was going to involve paperwork.
Flashback: “Planned Parenthood, God bless you”:

Washington Post refers to Planned Parenthood as ‘nonpartisan’ (which is as ridiculous as calling the WaPo ‘objective’)
