These Obamacare sales pitch videos might be a little more effective if they provided a scintilla of evidence that any of the people hawking the product actually used it themselves.

From The Hill:

A quartet of celebrities’ mothers has teamed up with the first lady to urge the nation’s young adults to sign up for ObamaCare.

The group’s ad opens with tales of celebrity childhood hijinks.

“Our boys were rambunctious, mischievous, naughty, gifted, talented, kind,” says Patsy Noah, the mother of Maroon 5 singer and co-host of “The Voice” Adam Levine.

“Jonah flooded the elementary school,” said Sharon Feldstein, mother to comic actor Jonah Hill.

Guadalupe Rodriguez, mother of actress Jennifer Lopez, speaks of how her daughter climbed out of her crib so frequently as a baby that she thought she should be a gymnast.

Also participating is Terria Joseph, mother to singer Alicia Keyes.

In the second half of the ad, the mothers transition into urging young adults to get health insurance so that mothers don’t have to worry about their children’s wellbeing.

As we speak, the Obamacare “customer satisfaction survey” asking why you chose a particular plan is being updated to include “because J-Lo was a restless baby” as a possible response. Sign me up!

At the 1:25 mark is evidence that somebody didn’t make sure Jonah Hill’s mother got the memo that we’re not supposed to say “bossy” anymore:

Remember: “Big Mother is Watching”:

On the other side of things, many mothers out there consider advising their kids to walk blindly into something that exists based on some of the biggest political lies ever told to be horrible parenting.
