John Kerry issues Russia most bureaucratic sounding ‘warning’ ever

John Kerry made it clear today that the Obama administration has a “hard line” in terms of Russia entering Ukraine (any deeper than they already have). What would happen if Putin crossed that line? I have no idea what this means:

Kerry said it was clear that Russia had intended to complete its annexation of Crimea [Duh! – DP], and issued a stern warning against further Russian incursions into Eastern Ukraine by Putin’s government.

“We have made it very clear that that’s a hard line in terms of the level — I mean, that will be a major breach and I hope we don’t get there,” Kerry said of the possibility of a further Russian incursion into Ukraine’s east.

“This is very questionable activity and I think we have to be very wary of it, but I am not going to go into all the specifics except to say that that would be just an enormous challenge to the global community and it would require a response that is commensurate with the level of that challenge,” Kerry added.

Huh?

Kerry also keeps saying Putin’s actions are unacceptable in the 21st century. In actuality, what’s unacceptable in the 21st century is this level of naivety in the White House.

Kerry also threw down the predictable platitudes:

President Obama already tried “wrong side of history” warning and it went nowhere.
