Via Twitchy and @RBPundit, the backdrop of a staged picture in a syrupy puff piece in Washingtonian MOM magazine (from the publisher of DC DAD and Beltway Cousin-in-Law) about Jay Carney & family has a few discrepancies:

Who doesn’t have severed fingers on their bookshelves?

In an effort to help revitalize the publishing industry, Jay Carney and Claire Shipman pick up three copies of every book they purchase — or that’s the worst magazine Photoshop in recent memory.

Judging from the lead photo in the magazine profile, if it weren’t for the Soviet propaganda posters in the kitchen, you might think that the Carneys live in the dairy & produce section of the P Street Whole Foods Market.
