Jay Carney reveals President Obama’s most challenging interviewer of the 2012 campaign

When you hear “left-leaning satirical news program” your mind might automatically think “network newscast,” and you’d be correct. However, Jay Carney revealed in a recent interview that no “mainstream” reporter was as tough on President Obama during the 2012 as The Daily Show’s Jon Stewart:

I think if you look back at 2012 and the series of interviews the President of the United States gave, probably the toughest interview he had was with Jon Stewart. Probably the most substantive, challenging interview Barack Obama had in the election year was with the anchor of “The Daily Show.”

I was in a state of shock after reading that. Jay Carney said something totally believable! At least he seems to be admitting that the majority of the MSM has looked like this the last several years:

As far as the mainstream press goes, for my money, this was one of Obama’s toughest grillings in recent memory:
