Rich Hollywood lefty Robert Redford is suing the state of New York in dispute of a $1.6 million tax bill. Playing the part of the Bolivian army in this remake of Butch Cassidy is the NY Dept. of Taxation.

Because Redford endorsed Team Obama in 2012, maybe one of the people he supported can convince him to stop complaining and just pay the tab for the greater good:

Come on, Mr. Redford, dig deep and show some economic patriotism — double taxation (which is what Redford’s claiming) is better than no taxation at all.
