Best & brightest: David Axelrod says Biden, Kerry, Hagel & Hillary Clinton made ‘tragically bad decision’

This is mostly being reported as David Axelrod taking a swipe at Hillary Clinton, but much of Obama’s inner circle is collateral damage.

From USA Today:

Things seem to be getting tense between the President Obama and Hillary Clinton camps.

Long-time Obama political adviser David Axelrod took to Twitter on Tuesday to apparently fire back at Clinton comments about the president’s statement that part of his foreign policy approach is “don’t do stupid stuff.”

Axelrod wrote, “Just to clarify: ‘Don’t do stupid stuff’ means stuff like occupying Iraq in the first place, which was a tragically bad decision.”

The vice president, secretary of state and secretary of defense for the administration Axelrod worked to elect & re-elect also made the same “tragically bad decision.”

Hmmm:

While we wait for Axelrod to answer that, here’s “tragically bad decision” maker Joe Biden in 2010 predicting Iraq would be “one of the great achievements of this administration”:

And of course President Obama is incapable of bad Iraq-related decisions because, according to him, he doesn’t make any Iraq-related decisions.
