White House responds to the Oklahoma beheading as expected

Here’s the short version of the White House’s response to the horrible beheading in Oklahoma:

That’s right, the beheading of a woman and stabbing of another in Oklahoma by a convert to Islam was so terrible that the White House has nothing to say about it. Maybe that’s just because it’s been categorized as another case of “workplace violence” and that the suspect was in no way influenced by recent ISIS videos (they sure made those determinations fast).

There’s obviously nothing for the White House to gain politically in commenting on the beheading. The attack in Oklahoma doesn’t fit into any desirable narrative like other things:

Ed Henry says White House has no comment on Oklahoma beheading. But Sandra Fluke? Yes. Gay football player? Yes. Beer Summit? Yes.
