Mitch McConnell’s opponent in the Kentucky Senate race, Alison Grimes, is obviously eager to discuss her history of voting for Democrats like Barack Obama:

Alison Lundergan Grimes (D) appeared before the Louisville Courier-Journal editorial board on Thursday to make her pitch for their endorsement. The life-long Democrat, whose father represented Kentucky for the party in the state House and who herself has been on the ballot in the state on the Democratic ticket, was asked a simple question. Did she vote for President Obama in 2008 and 2012?

Here’s an abridged version of the same non-answer:

Grimes said the question was irrelevant because Obama’s not on the ballot next month, which is odd because Obama himself said that his policies are on the ballot.

Let’s give her one more chance: Alison Grimes, did you vote for Barack Obama in 2008 and/or 2012?

Well, I tried.
