Gwyneth Paltrow thanks Obama for supporting equal pay that is ‘important to me as a working mother’

You’ll be shocked to know that President Obama is spending the weekend doing another round of fundraisers — this time in California. Thursday night, Gwyneth Paltrow hosted a DNC fundraiser headlined by Obama, and the actress was fawning so hard that a contract offer from MSNBC is probably in the works:

Gwyneth Paltrow had trouble remembering her lines as she introduced President Obama at a big-dollar fundraiser at her Los Angeles home Thursday.

The Hollywood actress told Obama “I am one of your biggest fans, if not the biggest,” praising the president before turning over the microphone by saying, “you’re so handsome that I can’t speak properly.”

A musical interpretation of Paltrow’s full speech is here.

This is the best part: Like Hillary Clinton, Paltrow is down with the struggle:

Paltrow, estimated by Forbes Magazine to make $19 million a year, praised Obama for supporting equal pay, which she said was “very important to me as a working mother.”

Just $19 million a year? #RaiseTheWage! Just think, if Paltrow worked for her “equal pay” hero in the White House, Obama’s male staffers would probably be earning $22 million a year.

Like most “working mothers,” Paltrow subsists in a six bedroom, eight bathroom cramped living space in L.A. Her home(s) elsewhere are probably equally confining.
