If you thought Hillary Clinton already launched her presidential campaign, you’re right. But history for the Clintons is like emails — if something didn’t work out you just scrub the server and start over:

The solemn memorial park at the southern tip of Roosevelt Island, Four Freedoms Park, will serve as the backdrop for Hillary Clinton’s first significant speech as a presidential candidate on June 13, when she is expected to lay out her vision for the future of the country and explain to voters why she is the right person to lead it there.

The park, designed by architect Louis Kahn and dedicated in 2012, honors the “four freedoms” Franklin D. Roosevelt outlined in his 1941 State of the Union address — freedom of speech, religion, freedom from want and freedom from fear. The symbolic backdrop won out over other potential sites for Clinton’s “vision” speech that were floated to the campaign by supporters, such as Seneca Falls, N.Y., the site of the first women’s rights convention in 1848.

Team Hillary decided that another try was in order after viewing video of their first campaign launch:

For priority seating, visit the Clinton Foundation kiosk at the north end of the park (cash or credit card):

Clinton’s New York speech will be open to the public and tickets will be free, according to the campaign website. But that message came with a big disclaimer: tickets do not guarantee admission and the rally will fill up on a first-come, first-served basis. A spokesman said it was not clear yet how many supporters the venue would accommodate.

It’ll be like a concert — the first few rows will be all “industry.” Reporters will be allowed to shout their questions from a roped-off section outside the Octagon Tower, which will provide Hillary’s re-launch with all the required symbolism.

Update:

“For the children”:

Hillary Clinton’s campaign didn’t pick the best time to stage a major campaign rally at Four Freedoms Park on Roosevelt Island later this month.

According to the park’s website, a specially planned event for tots called Imagination Playground — which features unique blue building blocks — has been canceled to accommodate the Democratic frontrunner for president.

Also at risk of major inconvenience: an annual celebration called Roosevelt Island Day, which features a blood drive, hot dog stands and free rides for kids.

It’s for your own good, kids, so just shut up and keep hammering the server.

The kids can have the park back that day if they can figure out how to raise $100,000 for the Clinton Foundation by the end of the week.
