Sheriff of Sanctuary City puts blame for SF tourist’s murder on ICE (just one problem)

There’s one detail about the killing of San Francisco tourist Kathryn Steinle that shows how disastrously top-to-bottom “progressive” the city is:

the Sheriff of San Francisco was once the spokesman for the man who is now the attorney for the confessed killer of Kathryn Steinle.

When local law enforcement leadership is at least as “progressive,” if not more so, than the mayor and city council, it’s only a matter of time before disaster strikes.

San Francisco Sheriff Ross Mirkarimi has pinned the blame on Immigration and Customs Enforcement for a five-time deportee randomly murdering a tourist:

There seems to be just one problem with that:

Defending sanctuary policies, Mirkarimi said the murder could have happened in any U.S. city. Well, it certainly could have happened in any U.S. city where he was in a position of authority.

Michelle pointed out many more examples of “sanctuary” policies gone bad (actually, they don’t go bad — they are bad).
