Joe Biden’s dragging out making his presidential plans known like he’s emceeing a talent contest: “And my announcement is… coming right after this break!

Today, Biden reeled in some praise from Walter Mondale:

“Joe, I love you, and we are so glad you are with us today,” Mondale told the current vice president.

He also praised what Biden has done with the job.

“You have taken the vice presidency a big step forward, aided enormously by your extraordinary experience in the Senate.”
The vice presidents sat in a George Washington University meeting room in front of guests who long ago snapped up all the tickets. The event was sponsored by the University of Minnesota Humphrey School of Public Affairs.

If Biden runs, Minnesota is IN THE BAG!

Joe’s just a compliment from Mike Dukakis away from being a lock to go down in general election flames.

This might be a signal that Biden’s running: He’s trying to update his role in the Bin Laden raid:

At a forum honoring former Vice President Walter Mondale, Biden also revised his account of the run-up to the 2011 raid that killed Osama bin Laden. Although Biden had said previously he advised Obama against the raid, he said Tuesday he had advised waiting for more information when asked for his opinion in the Situation Room, then privately told Obama that “he should go but follow his own instincts.”

By the time all revisions are in, Biden will have personally taken out OBL by firing a shotgun blast through a closed door on the Wilmington-to-DC Amtrak.

So what do you think, is Biden going to run? I hope so, if only because he presents the best arguments for how lousy the last few years have been for workers.
