Joe Biden’s not running: Grief counseling for the disappointed

You probably heard earlier that Joe Biden won’t be running for president. It might have something to do with the fact that President Obama’s coattails dropped out of the work force some time ago, as Joe has admitted on numerous occasions.

In any case, I found the news somewhat upsetting.

Hillary took it a little better than I did:

On the upside, I hear MSNBC’s already developing a nightly show for the veep that could start in February of 2017. The working title is “Who Wants to Talk About Issues While Getting an Unsolicited Shoulder Massage From Joe Biden?”

Granted, there’s always a chance that Biden could decide to jump in due to Hillary being forced out of the race — i.e. if she goes to prison or accidentally admits that life begins before the fetus has developed the ability to cut a check to the Clinton Foundation — but those odds are slim.
