14 killed in San Bernardino, so the New York Daily News slams Republicans for offering prayers

The liberal media does have its priorities:

How dare those Republicans offer prayers for the victims and their families! Meanwhile, the politicians who respond “we need to do SOMETHING” while ignoring the fact that laws supposedly designed to stop these very things didn’t work are hailed as the only people who are serious about preventing further tragedies.

The NY Daily News also had this about one of the suspects in the shooting who was killed by police:

Syed Farook, believed to be 30, was linked to the horrific slaughter that left 14 dead at the Inland Regional Center in San Bernardino, a law enforcement official told The Associated Press.

Farook’s father was shocked to learn of his son’s possible involvement in the attack.

“I haven’t heard anything,” the elder Syed Farook told the Daily News. “He was very religious. He would go to work, come back, go to pray, come back. He’s Muslim.”

The shell-shocked dad said his son worked as a health technician inspecting restaurants and hotels and graduated from La Sierra High School in 2003.

But obviously NYDN editors thought Republicans running for President were the ones who deserved to be called out on the Thursday cover.

It wasn’t just the NYDN jumping on the “your Christian prayers are useless” bandwagon:

If you said a prayer yesterday but don’t agree that outlawing things stops those who ignore laws you might as well have pulled the trigger yourself!

Martin O’Malley was blaming the NRA before all the police had even arrived on the scene:
