Hillary’s campaign is ale-ing; Anti-Trump Bill Ayers ‘showed world what America looks like’ (a Sunday open thread)
**Written by Doug Powers
It’s Sunday again, and I waited until late morning to set the clocks forward to fool myself into thinking I didn’t sleep in so late. Here’s our open thread to talk about whatever’s on your mind. A few starter topics as usual…
Donald Trump has of course been all over the news, but for some reason many mainstream outlets have been ignoring somebody now involved in the anti-Trump protest:
We rejected bigotry and racism and fascist xenophobia. We showed the world what America looks like and he folded. Take heart.

Nothing lends credence and legitimacy to this brand of “pro-America” movement like the support of an admitted unrepentant terrorist.

At a Trump rally yesterday in Dayton, somebody jumped the barrier and tried to rush the stage before being stopped by Secret Service:
And it’s only March.
Ted Cruz said this morning a Trump nomination would be disastrous for the Republican Party:
“I think it’s a disaster for the country because if Donald is the nominee, it makes it much, much more likely that Hillary Clinton wins the general,” Cruz said in an interview on “This Week with George Stephanopoulos.”
The Texas senator said the answer to beating Trump isn’t a brokered convention, but instead to “beat him at the ballot box.”
Cruz said his campaign is “on a path to beating Donald Trump,” after defeating the Republican front-runner in contests in seven different states, and recently securing endorsements from former Republican presidential candidate Carly Fiorina, radio talk show host Mike Levin, and conservative magazine National Review.
“I am writing to you today to confirm that we project a very significant budget shortfall due to an unexpected sharp decline in first-year enrollments and student retention this coming fall,” wrote Interim Chancellor Hank Foley in a university memo Wednesday. Instead of a 900-student drop, as Mizzou expected, the university was looking at a 1,500 student drop, and that meant a continuing revenue shortfall as a smaller freshman class moves toward graduation, he explained. With U.S. News and World Report reporting a 46% four-year graduation rate for the school, it’s a steep loss indeed.
As a result, Mizzou has been hit with a $32 million revenue shortfall, and will have to cut expenses 5% and impose a hiring freeze.
Yep, he actually said the large enrollment drop was “unexpected.” My 14-year-old son could have told them that was going to happen.
Here’s a good representation of how Hillary Clinton’s feeling the Bern from last night’s SNL:
Last but not least, caption Hillary:

“Ms. Clinton, the FBI just recovered your server from the bottom of the Hudson.”
Have a good Sunday all!
