Great: Most gullible State Department ever warns spring breakers not to fall for scams while overseas

The State Department’s travel office was mocked for basically warning Americans traveling to other countries that if somebody aesthetically out of their league shows an interest in them, it might be some sort of a scam. But for me the funniest part of all that was the Obama State Department having the audacity to lecture others about not being gullible:

The State Department’s Bureau of Consular Affairs apologized for a tweet it sent out Wednesday that warned Americans of scams while traveling overseas.

“Not a ‘10’ in the US? Then not a 10 overseas. Beware of being lured into buying expensive drinks or worse – being robbed. #springbreakingbadly,” the tweet read.

Or worse yet, releasing billions in sanction relief to “death to America” cheerleaders based on a nuke agreement that allows them to self-inspect — or signing a fossil fuel emissions accord and believing you did something to combat ISIS — or handing out cheap plastic novelty reset buttons to Cold War adversaries and thinking they’re not laughing at you behind closed doors — or… you get the point.

That State Department life lesson comes courtesy of the people who metaphorically tried to spike the bourbon & waters of countless despots, dictators and thugs before they got the drinks mixed up and unwittingly roofied themselves.
