I’m convinced, how ’bout you?

“All I can say is Loretta Lynch is one of the most outstanding human beings I have ever known,” Reid told reporters Thursday. “Her ethics are above reproach. No one could ever question her strong feelings about the rule of law, and her ethics are the best.”
[…]
Schumer said Lynch’s reputation as an “honorable person” ensures nothing unethical occurred when Lynch and Clinton met.

“She has said nothing was discussed relating to the investigation,” Schumer said. “So, you have two choices, to say this didn’t matter, or she is lying. I think it didn’t matter.”

In the first place, if Lynch had the highest of standards she wouldn’t have been talking privately about anything to the husband of a presidential candidate under FBI investigation, but everybody already knows that.
