Theater critics: ‘Hamilton,’ the play that judges the audience instead of the other way around

A few weeks ago the cast of “Hamilton” did an extra performance as a fundraiser for Hillary’s campaign, and you know how that turned out.

Payback time: Mike Pence was in attendance for Friday night’s performance, and one of the cast members made sure to personalize the show:

With Vice President-elect Mike Pence attending the show, the cast used the opportunity to make a statement emphasizing the need for the new administration of President-elect Donald J. Trump, a Republican, to work on behalf of all Americans.
[…]
As the play ended, the actor who played Vice President Aaron Burr, Brandon Victor Dixon, acknowledged that Mr. Pence was in the audience, thanked him for attending and added, “We hope you will hear us out.”

“We, sir — we — are the diverse America who are alarmed and anxious that your new administration will not protect us, our planet, our children, our parents, or defend us and uphold our inalienable rights,” he said. “We truly hope that this show has inspired you to uphold our American values and to work on behalf of all of us.”

Does it seem like Trump’s already been president for a couple years?

Dems, presumably including the above “Hamilton” actors, want to get rid of the Electoral College after Trump’s win. Who was the original advocate for the Electoral College? Hamilton. Please enjoy tonight’s performance of “Irony: The Musical!”
