Obama: We’re all going to die if we don’t follow my ‘clean power’ plan, and anybody saying otherwise are fear mongering

How will middle class Americans feel about paying much higher prices for energy just for the privilege of being pawns in Obama’s battle against an imaginary opponent so he can get even with industries he dislikes while enriching Democrat cronies (again)? We might find out soon enough:

US president Barack Obama has announced the first ever limits on US power plant emissions and declared climate change the greatest threat facing the world.

“No challenge poses a greater threat to our future and future generations than a change in climate,” Mr Obama said as he unveiled his administration’s ramped-up plan to cut carbon emissions from power plants.

“There is such a thing as being too late.
“Our fellow Americans have already seen their communities devastated by melting ice and rising oceans,” Mr Obama said.

The EPA was so giddily aroused during Obama’s speech that the building had to be fogged with potassium bromide. We may not know for about nine months exactly how out of control it got in there. EPA chief Gina McCarthy called Obama’s speech, I kid you not, “incredibly wicked cool.” Well, getting two out of three words correct is better than her usual average.

Here’s the kicker:

Accusing detractors of “scaremongering,” Mr Obama insisted suggestions of higher electricity costs, power shortages and a damaged economy would prove incorrect.

It’s scaremongering to point out that what Obama is, and has been, calling for will raise electricity prices? Gee, where would we have ever gotten that idea?
