Jeff Quinton sends word that the Huffington Post is reporting from Vail, Colo., on Dick Cheney’s alleged hospitalization for heart problems.

I wouldn’t have linked directly to the HuffPuffers, but after glancing at the cesspool in the comments section, I figured you’d be interested. Here’s a sample:

This is very reminiscent of how Laura Ingraham was treated after she revealed that she was being treated for breast cancer. At least Elizabeth Edwards had the decency to intervene and chastise rabid moonbats in that case.

So far, no such reminder from Arianna to her commenters on the need for–oh, what did she used to call it?–oh, yeah, “effective compassion.”

6/25/05: Well, it seems Arianna does have a conscience after all. She has deleted the offensive posts and published a note addressing the comments.
