I’m getting lots of moonbat mail from people who finally discovered the Seattle P-I’s article mentioning that accused Jew-killer Naveed Haq had reportedly been baptized at one point at an evangelical Christian church. Yeah, I noted that two days ago, Sherlocks. (Thought: Have you heard of taqiyya?) I also noted that the article reported that Haq “attended the Islamic Center of Tri-Cities mosque two weeks ago.”

And KOMO TV reports this, which you won’t see the moonbats talking about:

Police say there is evidence alleged Jewish Federation shooter Naveed Haq planned the shootings well in advance.

He bought two handguns, waited 10 days to get them, and picked them up just the day before the shooting, police say.

Investigators say the Muslim man found his target on the Internet searching for “something Jewish”.

Police say he forced his way inside the building and started firing both handguns. After killing one and wounding five, he revealed his motive to a 911 operator.

“He said he wanted the United States to leave Iraq,” says Seattle Police Chief Gil Kerlikowske, “that his people were being mistreated and that the United States was arming Israel and he pointedly blamed the Jewish people for all of these problems.”

Clue: By “his people,” he is not talking about evangelical Christians.

What part of Haq’s own declaration–“I am a Muslim American, angry at Israel”–don’t you understand?

Or are you accusing eyewitnesses and the 911 operator of making up Haq’s motives?

How many ‘lone’ individuals will have to open fire in how many American cities before the authorities abandon the reflex to assert that these are ‘lone’ individuals or isolated incidents and open their eyes to the possibility that they are part of a war in which understanding the enemy is a prerequisite for victory?

Is he connected to AQ? No evidence for that.

Is he connected to the general psychopathic pathology that infects so much of the Muslim world? Well, your mileage may vary, but it seems a little too early to simply dismiss that as a possibility. Especially when he himself proclaims that to be the case.

Yup.
