It’s ridiculous.
Newt Gingrich asks: “Why is the government undermining the efforts of charities to encourage people to learn English? And doesn’t it have better things to do with our tax dollars?”

Isn’t the Salvation Army a faith-based organization? Where are the “separation of church & state” advocates? I’d expect this from an Obama administraion, but not this one. I guess some bureaucrats are trying to impress the incoming leadership so they can keep their jobs.
